Computer Hardware - Nvidia 57X And 58X
We've raved across the GF11X that lives beneath the vapor-cooled copper and aluminum block of each the GeForce GTX58X and GTX57X; it is the finest items of Nvidia's Fermi (GF100), with the undesirable heat (largely) removed and racket just about fully silenced. Different GF11X adjustments involve the capability to filter two instances the FP16 pixels per cycle as opposed to the GF one hundred, and it has a brand new Z-culling/rejection algorithm for superior rendering in video games. The transistors that construct the very complicated GTX58X and 57X GPUs are additionally considerably less leaky than those of the GF100. Like Nvidia's present DX11 graphics playing cards, this pair helps Nvidia Encompass multi-show technology and 3d Vision (SLI necessary for each), as well as PhysX, SLI, and CUDA-based GPU processing.
Fermi 2. zero Numbers
The GF11X in Nvidia's reference GeForce GTX58X features a full supplement of sixteen Sms enabled, which permits it 512 CUDA processors, sixty four texture items, and 48 ROPs. The GeForce GTX57X employs the same GF11X, however with 15 active Sms, for 480 CUDA processors, 60 texture items, and 40 ROPs. Ram bandwidth on the GTX58X is 192. 4GBps, in comparison to the GTX57X's 152GBps. The former owes its larger spec to the 384-bit bus and faster 1536MB GDDR5 body buffer, cycled at 1002MHz. The GTX57X's 1280MB body buffer runs on a 320-bit bus and is cycled at 950MHz. The reference GTX58X and 57X feature processor cycles of 772MHz and 732MHz, respectively, however as you may find, there's nonetheless area for development. The GTX58X is presently the quickest single-GPU graphics card an individual should purchase, and, regardless of a somewhat slower ram subsystem, the GTX57X performs right on par with GTX 480 but is priced considerably less. Right now, there weren't many non-reference GTX58Xs and 57Xs obtainable, however the ones we might get our fingers on carried out very well. Continue studying to see if any of those graphics gorillas meet your needs.
How Did We Take a look at?
Our screening laptop consists of a 3.33 Gigahertz Intel processor i7-980X (Extreme-Edition), Gigabyte X58, 6 Gigs of Patriot Sector 7, a 128 Gig Patriot Zephyr Drive, and an Antec TruePower Quattro 1200 energy supply. The pc runs Home windows 7 sixty four-bit. We ran the cards' raw tessellation skills utilizing Unigine Heaven; artificial gaming prowess with 3DMark 11's Excessive setting; and actual-world DirectX 9/10.1/11 gaming functionality utilizing Left four Dead 2, Just Cause 2, and Aliens versus Predator. We used probably the most current Nvidia drivers out there at the time of this text, ForceWare version 263.09.
Evga GeForce GTX57X "Supercycled"
Evga's GeForce GTX57X Supercycled would not appear to be much of a contender at first look, and like Zotac's GTX58X AMP!, its PCB design and cooling gadget are centered on Nvidia's reference style. That doesn't hold it again, nonetheless; the stock GTX57X is cool, noiseless, and a fantastic performer. Evga did somewhat messing round on the subject of the processor and ram cycles, rising them to 797MHz and 975MHz, respectively. As with the original playing cards, the backplane includes twin DVI ports and a mini HDMI port. A couple of SLI fittings and two 6pin PCIE power fittings may be uncovered on the top fringe of the card. Evga packages the GTX57X Supercycled with a driver cd, Evga Precision overcycleing software, a mini-HDMI-to-HDMI adapter, DVIto-VGA adapter, and a couple of 6pin PCIE energy adapters. With this one, you even get Evga's 24/7 technical assistance and a restricted life time warranty. Within the benchmarks, Evga's 65MHz processor push is adequate to point out substantial gains on the reference card and in addition outpace the lower-cycled GTX57X from M.S.I. Promoting for noticeably lower than the initial MSRP, Evga's Supercycled 57X is a good purchase for gaming lovers.
M.S.I N57XGTX TwinFrozer 2
M.S.I was in a position to deliver us its TwinFrozer 2 version of the GTX57X, which makes use of, as far as we all know, Nvidia's reference PCB, but M.S.I saddled it with an superior nickel-plated copper and aluminum heatsink bristling with 5 heatpipes and guarded with an interesting plate of gunmetal boring aluminum. There are a pair of 80mm fans and a low-profile heatsink for the ram and other parts. M.S.I used solely stable capacitors for this product. In line with M.S.I, the revolutionary cooling system is accountable for a 20 degrees Celsius and 8.four dB noise decrease, compared to the reference GTX57X. From where we're sitting, this card runs as peaceable as any enthusiast card we have examined. M.S.I additionally tuned the processor and ram cycles to 786MHz and 1050MHz, respectively. Included extras include a driver cd, mini HDMI adapter, DVI-to-VGA adapter, and twin PCIE energy adapters. The included M.S.I Afterburner software allows you to improve the processor and ram cycles much more, and the three-yr guarantee is an effective incentive. Although the higher-overcycled GTX57Xs from Evga and Palit marginally outperformed M.S.I's card in 3DMark eleven, they each fell to the N57XGTX TwinFrozer 2 in Aliens versus Predator, at every resolution. With its beefy cooling device and overcycleing program, M.S.I's GTX57X gives you the assets to destroy the opposition.
Palit GeForce GTX57X Sonic Platinum
We have examined a variety of Sonic Platinum cards from Palit, and in consequence, we had substantial anticipation for the GeForce GTX57X Sonic Platinum; Palit did not fail. Of all of the playing cards on this roundup, Palit's was the only one with a reworked PCB. Though a PCB revamp will typically indicate price decreasing, Palit appears to have been at minimum somewhat impressed by the drive to pump extra power to the GF110; there are 6pin and 8pin PCIE energy fittings on the top edge of the card, like the ones located on the GTX58X. The cooling system in the GTX57X Sonic Platinum is admittedly similar to M.S.I's, however there is a less exposing plastic shroud on it. We equally adore that Palit discovered it match to incorporate DisplayPort and full-sized HDMI ports. Palit pushed the processor cycle increased than each Evga and M.S.I-to 800MHz. The ram cycle additionally obtained pushed to 1, 000MHz. Palit included a driver cd, DVI-to-VGA adapter, and a PCIE energy adapter. In the benchmarks, Palit topped the remainder of the GTX57Xs in our collection of artificial benchmarks, together with 3DMark 11 and Unigine Heaven. Actual-world results were really similar, but Palit's card only cut up from the bunch in Simply Cause 2 at 2560 x 1600. Whereas priced equally to Evga's providing, we think overcyclers will get extra performance for his or her cash with this one.
Sparkle Calibre GTX58X
Sparkle's quite boastful of its tackle Nvidia's GeForce GTX58X, and rightfully so. The GeForce GTX58X Calibre is one of the most huge cards we have actually had our paws on. The three-PWM-fan-outfitted Accelero Xtreme cooling gadget buckled to the GTX58X reference PCB is totally three slots wide, and the copper heatpipe/aluminum fin set up reaches a further inch past the PCB on the end and a quarter inch on the top. Remarkably, Sparkle claims that the cooling machine is able to successfully cooling as much as 240 watts, but the reference GTX58X is a 244-watt graphics card. In spite of the difference, we didn't notice any performance problems, and the card ran lots quiet for our likes. When you plan to SLI a few these, use versatile fittings and a motherboard with broadly divided PCIE slots. Sparkle cranked the processor and ram cycles to 810MHz and 1008MHz, respectively. Bundled add-ons include a driver cd, 8pin PCIE energy adapter, DVI-to-VGA adapter, and HDMI cable. As you may guess, the GTX58X Calibre outpaced the reference 58X by a good margin in all assessments and was solely bested by the higher-cycled Zotac GTX58X AMP! card. With such a powerful cooling gadget, we might be surprised in case you could not bump the cycles much more, which might help warrant this card's similarly placing cost.
Zotac GeForce GTX58X AMP!
With GeForce GTX58X AMP!, Zotac argues that rather a lot might be achieved with Nvidia's reference PCB and the unique cooling device. Zotac's appropriate: This card might not appear to be a lot, however they had been able to enhance the processor and ram cycles further than Sparkle, to 815MHz and 1025MHz. All other characteristics, save the fire-breathing dragon label, replicate those of the reference mannequin, similar to the 2 DVI ports and mini HDMI port on the backplane and the 6pin and 8pin PCIE power fittings on high of the card. Equipment include 6pin and 8pin PCIE energy adapters, a mini HDMI-to-HDMI adapter, and DVI-to-VGA adapter. The 58X AMP! additionally ships with Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and the Zotac Increase Premium program bundle, which consists of the Cooliris browser plug-in, XBMC, Kylo browser for HTPCs, and CUDA-accelerated demonstrations of vReveal and Nero Imaginative and prescient Xtra. In the benchmarks, Zotac's card pushed and shoved its option to the highest of the stack, thanks mainly to better processor and ram cycles. Though it's priced considerably greater than the inventory card, Zotac's outstanding overcycle and included extras make it a deserving alternative for gaming fanatics.
Nvidia's Enthusiast Selection
Having received our mitts on some overcycleed reference boards and even just a few overhauls from the PCB on up, we will certainly declare that the graphics playing cards structured on the GF110 are a serious gamer's treat. There is a broad worth variety here, as nicely, so any main recreation addict should be capable of find something that works at their worth point. The GTX58X and 57X won't make you higher at video games, but with any of them, you simply cannot lose.

I Have Built a new computer and when i boot up, my monitor enters power saving mode then goes blank why?
I have A
500 watt Antec power supply
ASUS A8N32SLI MoBo nforce sli
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ Proccessor
EVGA NVidia 7600 GS Video Card
1 GB Memory
Seagate 320 GB 7200.10 RPM HDD
Hp 17" 1280-1024 resolution monitor
SONY CD-RW-ROM
SONY DVD-ROM
Every time I boot up it just goes blank it wont get a signal or something but its getting pretty annoying.
I can see you messed up. First of all you always get DVD drives for both for copying purposes. Then you could have bought the Sony 830a with RAM. I know you can put more memory in that . You got a decent graphics card. If I remember right it is from last year.
Problem: Maybe it is overheating. I know on my Gforce FX 5200 OC, I had changed it to the bottom slot. Well lo and behold, I started having issues. Seems my machine would turn off. I put it back to the top slot and not another problem has occured. Overheating is the nemesis of video cards and motherboards. Open the case and see what happens. I presume you are away from any heat sources. The monitor cord hooks up to your video cord,(I am just guessing) but if it were to overheat, the bios might turn it off somehow. The video board would reset my machine so why not turn off your computer monitor.
That is about all my guessing. But go to pcworld.com and cnet.com. You need to subscribe for free to both of them. They keep you posted as to what is going on. Also, pcworld.com has some articles on building your own pc. Check them both out.
