HP's LaserJet P-1505 - A Space-Saving Device With Powerful Capabilities
The HP LaserJet P1505 Printer is a monochrome laser printer that's a speedy performer. It's ideal for use at home or in the office or even in a workgroup consisting of 5 computers. It also uses the high-end, patented spherical LaserJet P1505 cartridge. Although there's no space for upgrading found here, it's fast and dependable enough just as it is. This is due to the innovations Hewlett Packard has added into the unit.
Within lies a 266 MHz processor that's responsible for a printing speed of 24 black-and-white pages per minute. It has a body measuring 8.9 in x 9.6 in x 14.9 in (height x depth x width) and has a 13 lb weight. These numbers only show that it can be placed on just about any surface, including your desktop, or moved depending on where it's required. Making it match the rest of the home or office environment is its simple white body with clean lines.
Ensuring that you can finish as much task as possible to meet productivity needs is the Instant-On technology. This allows the first page to be out in just a matter of 6.5 seconds. Compared to other monochrome laser printers these days, that speed is surprisingly fast. The speed at which the unit ejects the first printout is just as critical as the number of pages produced per minute, especially in today's busy home and office environment.
Input media handling capacity is set at 260 sheets as a result of the dual media feeders available. There's the auto-load priority input tray that's capable of containing a maximum of 10 sheets. Each time the printer is to do a task, it first looks for media on this tray. Then there's also the main input tray that's able to handle a maximum of 250 sheets. It's adjustable to accommodate multiple media sizes.
Still on media dimensions, this black-and-white stunner can handle a variety of them. It handles letter (8.5 in x 11 in), legal (8.5 in x 14 in) and executive (7.25 in x 10.5 in) dimensions. It can also work on custom media sizes, ranging from 3 in x 5 in to a maximum of 8.5 in x 14 in. When it comes to media types handled, the P1505 can take a variety of them. They include regular, rough, photographic, vellum, cards, envelopes, labels and transparencies.
Allowing for professionally-rendered documents each time is the 1200 x 1200 dpi print resolution. In addition, there's also Hewlett Packard's own FastRes 1200 technology. Without slowing down the printer's performance, it's possible to have crisp text, sharp lines and photorealistic grayscale images.
There's a 2MB RAM (fixed) installed upon purchase. Also included are 26 scalable fonts and a PCL 5e printer language support. The hi-speed USB 2.0 port and integrated networking connection make it easy to use the unit on a single computer or a workgroup with a max of 5 computers. The patented spherical HP LaserJet laser toners can yield up to 2000 pages, and the duty cycle is set at 8000 pages per month.
With the Easy Printer Care tool, the HP LaserJet P1505 Printer can be easily installed and maintained. With this, you can set it up in a snap, read user reports, get alerts when the cartridge is running low, or order LaserJet P1505 toner cartridges over the internet. Based on the overall features, this black-and-white laser printer is suitable whether for home or office application.
EVAG GeForce 7800 GS AGP?
Its says that the card requriers 350 watt power or greater.
I have a 250 watt Max power supply. MY question is could the card perform with the low watts or could the card work with these low watts.
If you have a spare hard drive power connector, it should work... Power ratings are sometimes exaggerated
