Laptop charger question, AC power adapter type cannot be determined?
When I plug my laptop's charger into the computer i get this message:
"The AC power adapter type cannot be determined. Your system will operate slower and the battery will not charge. Please connect a Dell 65W AC adapter or higher for best system operation."
I have no idea what kind of adapter I have, but I've been using the same charger since I got the computer earlier this year, and I haven't gotten this message before. What happened?
I actually had a similar instance and I tried a different wall outlet and it worked fine. I don't know why it did not like that outlet but it came up with the same message you got. Do you have a Dell studio 15 btw?
