Failed to install new Power supply unit?
So today i tried installing a new power supply unit. Except when i tried turning it on. All that happened was my power supply blinking yellow. I have a Dimension E510 and installed the ATX 12V 2.2 450 Watt power supply. Do any of you know what i did wrong when installing this?
very common problem in a few dell models. try to reset your CMOS and make sure the switch on your power supply is switched to 120v not 220 (saying there is a switch there) if that doesn't solve your problem just try google... many people on various web forums have your problem and solution.
