I am a guitarist for a metal band and I have recently given up on using head amps/combo amps. I now use Rig/Rackmount equipment.
My current set up is:
Jackson Rhoads RR3 - ENGL E530 - BEHRINGER AUTO COMP PRO-XL - PEAVEY SESSION BASS AMP.
That's right I am using a bass amp for the clean channel. My distortion comes from the ENGL E530.
However this Peavey Bass amp is not loud enough for large venues. Could anyone suggest a good guitar power amp, perfect for large gig venues.
