Help - will the OCZ PSU - Stealth stream 600w make use of a MS-6741 system board?
Help - I've purchased a OCZ PSU - Stealth X Stream 600w for my old PC. I desired to upgrade the energy supply to let me fit a Energy colour X1950 professional graphics card.
Mom board is definitely an MS-6741 by having an AMD64 3000+ processor
After I changed that old PSu (300w) I acquired nothing - no energy.
I am fairly i got the wiring right. A 20 + 4 towards the Mother board, a 4 pin towards the Hard disk. I haven't fitted the brand new graphics card yet when i figured i'd update the energy first make certain it labored then try it out using the graphics card.
I've taken everything out - refitted that old PSu - also it labored. Then i attempted again using the OCZ - nothing. Not really a wee light around the PSU.
So I have drawn everything then back out again and fitted that old PSU in again - works.
So shall we be held missing some thing fundamental? Does the OCZ Stealth XStream 600 make use of a MS-6741?
Any help appreciated?
regards
Stevie
First factor would be to remove all of the compoantns and dry run it outdoors the tower, remove and add bits if you want.
It might be the PSU is really a dud... you can get a tester to determine this..
