pc power supply replacement questions...?
I have blown the power supply on my computer. the power supply is a Newton Power Ltd NPS-250CB B. The way gateway setup my computer, each component locks in with a special bracket to the case. Try as I might, I cant seem to find this power supply anywhere. My first question is, does anyone know of a store that carries this exact model? If not, does anyone know of a power supply with the exact dimensions and mounting locations as this one so I can replace it without having to rebracket the case?
You can probably find one with the same dimensions...or close enough...just look on newegg or tigerdirect. As far as the screw holes, you may have to drill a couple holes in the back of your case to make it work. Dell and Gateway like to make it difficult to put a standard power supply in their cases.
