Looking to buy a computer. NEED EXPERT SUGGESTIONS?
i want to buy a computer with the following and i can get it fot $1150. im pretty sure it will play every game out there at the moment.
1. Power Supply - Seasonic S12+ 550W
2. MotherBoard - Gigabyte N650SLI-DS4L
3. CPU - Intel Core2 Duo E8400 3.00 GHz
4. RAM - 2G-800 A-data x2
5. DvD - ASUS SATA DL DVD-RW
6. HDD - W.D. SATA 500G
7. VideoCard - 512M 9600GT Gigabyte x2
8. Case - Thermaltake Soprano
Could i do any beter?
Do i need to?

There is actually 4g of ram becaust im getting 2 2gig sticks. if u look at the ram its got a x 2 after it.

Well, it's great. However, If you want greater gaming bang for the buck, I'd recommend shifting the balance of the build a bit, perhaps non-intuitively...
Swap the E8400 for an E7200 - savings of almost $70
Swap those 9600GTs for 8800GTs (roughly extra $35 per card)
The CPU difference is minor, but the performance boost from upgrading to dual 8800GTs is huge. Not to mention you can always choose to OC the E7200 if you want- but even at stock speeds it will handily outperform the first system at gaming.
And I agree, upgrade the RAM to at least 3GB.. but you can always do that later.
